SAN JOSE – A 20-year-old Modesto man has been arrested in connection with a shooting last year in San Jose, police said.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 16 at a business in the 2300 block of McKee Road, San Jose police spokesperson Stacie Shih said in a news release.
The suspect drew a gun inside the establishment before walking outside and firing at the victim, who was still inside the business, Shih said. The victim was not injured.
Shih said the suspect left the area before officers arrived, but he was identified by detectives as Manuel Orozco-Calderon.
Orozco-Calderon was arrested Feb. 11 in Modesto and booked into Santa Clara County jail on suspicion of attempted murder and shooting into an inhabited dwelling, Shih said.
Anyone with information related to the case can contact Detective Carlos Soria at 408-277-4161 or 4793@sanjoseca.gov.
