Multi-vehicle Edens crash injures passengers, pedestrian in Skokie

Six vehicles crashed on the Edens Expressway early Sunday in Skokie, and a pedestrian was struck by one of the cars, according to Illinois State Police.

The wreck happened around 4:45 a.m. Sunday in the I-94 northbound lanes near Golf Street. Several passengers and the pedestrian were taken to local hospitals, according to authorites. Their conditions were not reported.

Several lanes were closed after the crash. State troopers are investigating the cause.
