Central Command has released new video showing jets from the San Diego-based USS Abraham Lincoln launching sorties against Iran day and night.
The giant nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is operating in the northern Arabian Sea as Operation Epic Fury enters its third week.
The video recorded March 12 shows F/A-18 Super Hornet attack jets and F-35C Lightning II stealth fighters launching and landing day and night.
Iran has claimed multiple successful attacks on the carrier, but Central Command has refuted this and the video shows no damage.
On Sunday the Institute for the Study of War published a report saying the “trajectory is relatively positive” for U.S. and Israel in the war.
“The United States is steadily destroying Iran’s ability to use its most essential tool in the war — drone and missile attacks — which in turn underpin the entire Iranian strategy,” the Washington, D.C.-based think tank said in a post on X.
