- Monday, April 13 at 1 p.m.: The City Planning Commission will hold a public review session on the following land use items: 289 Kent Avenue Rezoning, 101 Franklin Street Bulk Authorization and 198-208 Richmond Terrace. More here.
- Monday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m.: NYC’s Economic Development Corp. will hold a public information session about its plans to redevelop the Brooklyn Marine Terminal. More here.

- Tuesday, April 14 at 11 a.m.: The City Council’s Subcommittee on Zoning & Franchises will meet regarding the following land use applications: St. Francis Prep Commercial Overlay, 9201 4th Avenue Rezoning, 46 Nelson Street Rezoning, Sabrosura sidewalk café, and Cicchetti BK sidewalk café. - Tuesday, April 14 at 6 p.m.: The Department of Housing Preservation and Development will host a Zoom workshop for homeowners on how to avoid deed theft. More here.
- Wednesday, April 15 at 10 a.m.: The City Planning Commission will meet to vote on the following land use items: 241 37th Street NYPD Office Space Acquisition, 1034-1042 Atlantic Ave FRESH Pt. 2, St. Mary’s Hospital Demapping, and 147-14 Northern Boulevard Rezoning. The Commission will also hold a public hearing on plans for 198-208 Richmond Terrace. More here.
- Monday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m.: NYC’s Economic Development Corp. will hold an in-person public information session about its plans to redevelop the Brooklyn Marine Terminal. More here.
- Thursday, April 16, at 9 a.m.:The Rent Guidelines Board, which considers annual rent adjustments for tenants in rent stabilized apartments, will hold a public meeting to will hear testimony from officials with the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, NYS Homes and Community Renewal and Columbia University’s Center on Poverty & Social Policy. - Thursday, April 16, at 10 a.m.: The Public Housing Preservation Trust will hold a board meeting where members. More here.
- Thursday, April 16, at 2 p.m.: The Department of City Planning will hold a public scoping meeting about plans for a new 22-story, 215-foot tall infill building at Shorecrest Towers in Brooklyn. More here.
- Saturday, April 18, at 11 a.m.: NYCHA will host a community mental health day at the Bushwick/Hylan Community Center in Brooklyn to connect tenants with mental health and wellness providers. More here.
- Monday, April 20 at 10 a.m.: The City Council’s Committee on Housing and Buildings will hold an oversight hearing on tenant Harassment against immigrants and the city’s Certification of No Harassment Program. More here.
- Monday, April 20 at 10 a.m.: The City Council’s Hospitals Committee will hold an oversight hearing examining NYCH+H’s Street Health Outreach & Wellness (SHOW) van initiative, which provides care to unhoused New Yorkers. More here.
NYC Affordable Housing Lotteries: The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) are closing lotteries on the following subsidized buildings over the next week.
- Prosper, Brooklyn, for households earning between $34,492 – $227,500 (last day to apply is 4/13)
- 3030 Colden Avenue Apartments, Bronx, for households earning between $79,303 – $140,000 (last day to apply is 4/13)
- 1259 St Marks Ave Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $75,772 – $140,000 (last day to apply is 4/13)
- The Rowan, Bronx, for households earning between $81,018 – $140,000 (last day to apply is 4/13)
- Brownsville Crossing, Brooklyn, for households earning between $7,166 – $140,630 (last day to apply is 4/14)
- 74 West 126th Street Apartments, Manhattan, for households earning between $38,503 – $129,600 (last day to apply is 4/20)
