DEERFIELD BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) – A Brightline train hit and killed a pedestrian in Deerfield Beach, authorities said.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened near Northeast Second Avenue and Eller Street, at around 9 p.m. on Monday.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
What exactly led to the crash remains under investigation.
