BOSTON (WHDH) – Traffic on part of Columbus Avenue near the Jamaica Plain and Roxbury line was still reduced to one lane of traffic Thursday morning, two days after a massive water main break flooded the area.
Crews worked throughout the nights since the break to replace the 36 inch pipe, which is believed to be over 120 years old.
Officials could not rule out age as a factor in the break, but said there are many other possible contributing factors as well.
