KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A rainy Kansas City forecast has delayed the start of the White Sox game against the Royals on Sunday.
There wasn’t estimated start time for the game, which was originally scheduled for 1:10 p.m. Showers were in the forecast for much of the afternoon.
First pitch was delayed by 25 minutes on Saturday due to rain as well.
The Sox are vying for a split in the four-game series, which has seen Chicago bats go silent in two straight shutouts.
But fans are already looking forward to Tuesday’s home game against the Rays, when top pitching prospect and Oswego East product Noah Schultz will make his MLB debut, the team announced.
