All airport access roadways at San Diego International Airport have reopened following flooding that temporarily closed routes to the facility, Airport Authority Chair Gil Cabrera announced on X Thursday morning.
The flooding caused by heavy rains forced officials to close access roads, leaving passengers scrambling to reach the airport.
Weather-related issues have also caused flight delays throughout the morning, according to airport officials.
Travelers are advised to check their flight status with airlines before heading to the airport and to contact carriers directly about potential delays.
