Saturday Evening Dwell star Michael Che acquired raving applause from the studio viewers this weekend after he cracked a ghastly joke about President Donald Trump in the course of the “Weekend Replace” section of the present on the day earlier than Easter.
The comic began his bit saying he thinks “that’s cool that the president goes to the theater” on the heels of Trump’s attendance on the musical Chicago carried out final Wednesday on the Trump John F. Kennedy Heart for the Performing Arts.
However after saying he thinks it’s cool, Che added, “What’s the worst that might occur?” because the in studio crowd cheered and clapped.
WATCH:
Che’s wisecrack stemmed from an allusion to the homicide of our sixteenth President, Republican Abe Lincoln, who went to Ford’s Theater to absorb a play in April of 1865 solely to be shot within the head from behind by a Democrat murderer. Clearly, Che was riffing off Lincoln’s assassination after he went to the theater.
For his half, Che’s cohost, Colin Jost, ripped the President for threatening the terror-exporting Mullahs of Iran.
In reply to Trump’s warnings to the novel, oppressive Mullahs, Jost intoned, “Within the spirit of Easter, let me simply say: Jesus Christ!”
Apparently Jost is OK with the Iranian regime murdering hundreds of harmless Iranians yearly, imprisoning political opponents, and raping and murdering girls for not being Islamic sufficient.
