SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A preliminary 2.5-magnitude earthquake shook the San Francisco Peninsula early Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was 1.7 miles southeast of Pacifica at a depth of about 5.5 miles. The tremblor occurred at 3:25 a.m., USGS said. There were no initial reports of damage.
