As the San Antonio Spurs battle against the Philadelphia 76ers, the veteran big man Victor Wembanyama got caught up in dealing with multiple setbacks.
During the first half, Wembanyama left for the locker room as he was dealing with a suspected arm injury. Just a few minutes later, he was back on the court and planning to finish the game.
However, during the second half, the veteran big man was ruled out for another injury. Dealing with a rib-related concern, Wembanyama stayed back in the locker room. The Spurs ruled him out for the remainder of the game.
When Wembanyama left the game, he had just 16 minutes of action. The star center 7-11 from the field, scoring 17 points. He also had five rebounds, one assist, and two blocks.
Around the time the Spurs ruled out Wembanyama, they were building a comfortable lead over the Sixers.
If the Spurs can close out the game on top, they will pick up their 60th win of the year.

Heading into Monday’s action, the Spurs were trailing the Oklahoma City Thunder by 3.0 games. OKC is the only team in front of the Spurs at this stage of the season.
After the game against the Sixers, the Spurs have three games on schedule. They’ll stay at home for the rest of the run, hosting matchups against the Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, and the Denver Nuggets.
