The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is starting extra patrols from April 6-13 as part of their annual distracted driving traffic enforcement campaign.
Troopers will be looking for drivers who are texting, not slowing down, not moving over or distracted behind the wheel according to a statement Texas DPS posted to social media.
