Dearest gentle readers, a new season of Bridgerton is upon us! Bridgerton Season 4 makes its long-awaited debut on Netflix this week, finally matching Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) with his dream girl. The only problem? Benedict meets his mysterious “Lady in Silver” at a masquerade. He doesn’t know her name, Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), or the fact that she’s a servant.
If the set up for Bridgerton Season 4 sounds an awful lot like the classic Cinderella fairy tale, that’s because it is. Bridgerton Season 4 is based on Julia Quinn’s third Bridgerton book, An Offer From a Gentleman. That novel explores what it would actually mean for a young woman in service to sneak into a fancy ball, meet the love of her life, and then have to get back into her maid’s uniform when the clock strikes twelve.
So how will Benedict find Sophie again? Would he even recognize his beloved Lady in Silver without the mask? And what real world challenges would a match such as theirs have? You’ll have to watch Bridgerton Season 4 to find out!
Here’s everything you need to know to watch Bridgerton Season 4 on Netflix…
