Another big change is reportedly coming to YouTube TV.
According to The Athletic’s Andrew Machand, the streaming giant is set to roll out a new sports-only subscription plan for customers that will be cheaper than its current streaming package, which runs users $82 per month.
Marchand speculated the price could be in the “$55-60 range with an introductory three-month trial that might be slightly cheaper.”

The news comes less than four weeks after YouTube TV and Disney found a resolution to their carriage dispute that left sports fans without access to the ESPN family of networks for two weeks on the middle of the NFL and college football seasons.
Bloomberg also reported this week that YouTube TV has 10 new subscription plans set to launch next year that allows customers to tailor their packages to their streaming preferences. They can choose content-specific packages such as sports only, news only, and more.

The YouTube TV sports package will reportedly include most major sports channels including FS1, NBC Sports Newtork, and every Disney-owned ESPN channel including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes, ESPN on ABC, ESPN+, SEC Network, and ACC Network.
Consumers also have the option to include NFL Sunday Ticket and NFL RedZone add-ons as well.
“YouTube TV is attempting to make watching sports easier and cheaper,” Marchand wrote. “They are not alone as Spectrum, DirecTV and Comcast have all touted similar skinny sports bundles ideas. But YouTube TV is ascending with around 10 million subscribers putting it in striking distance to soon move past Spectrum and Comcast’s 12 million.”
