SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — At least 13 people were injured after a cable car came to a sudden stop in San Francisco on Monday, according to San Francisco fire officials. SKY7 video shows shattered glass on the window.
SFFD says all of them were taken to a local hospital. Two people were suffered for moderate injuries, and 11 people were transported to the hospital for minor pain and aches. Two people declined treatment.
SFFD has since updated the number of injured from 14 to 13.
This happened on the California Street Line between Leavenworth and Hyde.
Fire officials say an object might have been thrown at the cable car.
