Police activity at San Francisco International Airport impacting holiday travel

SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KGO) — Police activity is slowing down holiday travel at San Francisco International Airport on Friday.

The Terminal 1 Departures Level lobby is closed, airport officials say. They’re urging travelers to avoid the departures level of the domestic terminals.

Departing passengers with no bags to check can be dropped off at the International Terminal and use the security checkpoints there to get to their gates.

Passengers with Jet Blue, American and Sun Country are being instructed to contact their airline for further instructions.
