All westbound lanes of San Mateo Bridge shut down following deadly car crash, authorities say

SAN MATEO, Calif. (KGO) — All westbound lanes of the San Mateo Bridge are closed following a deadly accident, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities say at least two cars were involved in the crash between a van and sedan just before 3 p.m. on Highway 92.

It’s unknown when all lanes will reopen.

The CHP said at least one person was taken to Stanford Hospital.
