Child fatally shoots family member inside Benicia home, police say

BENICIA, Calif. (KGO) — Benicia police are investigating after a child shot and killed a family member during a domestic dispute.

It happened at around 10 p.m. Thursday on London Circle.

Police say the gun was fired in self-defense. An adult male was shot and later died.

Police say that, because a child was involved, no other details are being released.
