A crash in Pembroke Pines caused downed an electrical pole and damaged a fire hydrant Monday morning, police said.
Authorities said the crash happened at Pines Boulevard and Northwest 76th Avenue.
It was not immediately clear what caused the collision or if the driver was hurt, but it knocked an electrical pole “across the roadway,” police said.
The damaged fire hydrant meanwhile caused flooding along the roadway, “including the nearby shopping plaza.”
All westbound and southbound traffic was blocked, and drivers are urged to use caution.
