A woman was shot and killed on Christmas night after an argument between neighbors turned violent in Lauderhill, authorities said.
Officers were called at around 10:25 p.m. to the 2200 block of Northwest 56th Avenue on Thursday.
They found the victim who had been shot and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Police said that a “preliminary investigation indicates the incident began as a verbal argument between neighbors and subsequently escalated. All individuals involved have been located and are accounted for at
this time.”
The identity of the victim and a possible suspect were not immediately provided.
Authorities said thee incident was isolated and there was no ongoing threat to the public.
