Woman killed in shooting in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood

Police are investigating after a woman was killed in a shooting in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood late Saturday night.

The shooting was reported around 11:50 p.m. in the 1800 block of Southwest 3rd Court, Miami Police officials said.

Police said officers reswponded and found the woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

She was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where she died from her injuries, police said.

Police haven’t released the woman’s identity or any other details about the shooting but said their investigation was ongoing.
