A Miami landlord was arrested after he allegedly attacked a tenant with a hammer during a parking dispute last month, authorities said.
Kimber Mathew Long, 64, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon causing bodily harm, Miami-Dade jail records showed.
The alleged attack happened back on Dec. 20 at a property on Southwest 108th Avenue.
According to an arrest report, Long was involved in a verbal dispute over a vehicle parked on the property and during the dispute, he grabbed a hammer and tried to destroy the tenant’s motorcycle.
Long then started hitting the victim with the hammer, causing lacerations to the tenant’s head and arms, the report said.
Long was booked into jail and was expected to appear in bond court on Wednesday.
