A second-grade student was found with a loaded magazine at a Catholic school in Miramar, police said.
The discovery was made at St. Bartholomew Catholic School on Miramar Parkway, Miramar Police officials said Monday.
Officers responded after school administration reported that the student had the bag containing the loaded magazine/
Police said the school followed established safety protocols.
There was no active threat and no charges are being filed at this time, police said.
The incident remains under administrative review.
