Three schools in Miami were placed on lockdown after an armed person was reportedly seen at Christopher Columbus High School on Wednesday, deputies said.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call about an armed person who was seen at Columbus, and deputies arrived at the school.
Columbus was placed on lockdown, as well as St. Brendan Elementary and High School.
Chopper 6 captured deputies at Columbus searching the school.
An investigation into the incident remains active.
