Families of Parkland school shooting victims gathering to mark 8 years since tragedy

The families of the victims of the 2018 shooting at a Parkland school are gathering Thursday to mark eight years since the tragedy.

The Feb. 14, 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School left 17 people dead and more injured and had a massive impact on the community.

Family members were expected to speak around 11 a.m. at Pine Trails Park Amphitheater.
