A fire erupted at a Hollywood gas station Thursday night after a driver took off with the gas pump line still attached, officials said.
The incident happened shortly after 7 p.m. at the station in the area of Pembroke Road and S. 28th Avenue.
Hollywood Fire Rescue officials said crews responded and found a gas pump on fire but were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
Video and images released by the department showed flames shooting out of the pump and firefighters hosing it down.
Everyone at the business was safely evacuated and there were no injuries.
Officials said a driver had driven off with the gas pump line still attached to their vehicle, which caused the fire.
