After an exciting Opening Ceremony on Friday, several events took place today with plenty still to come.

Gold medals were already given in alpine skiing and women’s cross-country skiathlon 🥇

Here are some storylines that we’re following for Team USA.

• Lindsey Vonn, on the alpine skiing team, dominated her second training run after suffering from a torn ACL before the games started.
• Maxim Naumov and Coral Springs’ own Andrew Torgashev, who are on the U.S figure skating team, said they’re “Enjoying every minute.”

This afternoon, the U.S. will compete in the curling mixed doubles preliminaries and the men’s single figure skating qualifiers.
