A security guard at a school in Miami-Dade was arrested for an alleged sex act with a 17-year-old student, authorities said.
Slyvester Lee James, 24, was arrested Sunday on a charge of offenses against students by authority figures, Miami-Dade jail records showed.
According to an arrest report, the teen victim attends a school where James works as a security guard, though the school isn’t named in the report.
The teen said she was communicating with James by telephone and that they agreed to meet off school grounds, the report said.
She said they met and while they were in his vehicle, she performed a sex act on him, the report said.
Detectives interviewed James who admitted to knowing the girl at school then asked for an attorney, the report said.
James, who lives in Cutler Bay, was arrested and booked into jail.
