A fourth Broward County school employee has been arrested in connection with a scheme to illegally rent out a gym for personal gain, authorities said.
Shaune Cannon, 50, is accused of renting out the gym at Forest Glen Middle School in Coral Springs, where he works as a behavior tech.

Cannon is facing charges of organized scheme to defraud and grand theft for allegedly renting out the school’s gym without using the proper channels and pocketing the money, an arrest report said.
The arrest is at least the fourth of its kind in Broward dating back to December.
Blanche Ely High School boys’ basketball coach Henry McNabb and Coral Springs High School girls’ basketball coach Brenton Hankerson were arrested on similar charges after they were taking in thousands of dollars in exchange for the illegal gym rentals, authorities said.
Donald Calloway, an assistant girls’ basketball coach at Coral Springs High School, was also arrested in the same scheme, officials said.
Investigators said the rentals were done outside the district’s approval process with payments sent directly through Zelle, costing the district thousands of dollars and raising safety and liability concerns.
District officials had said they are continuing to review policies and internal controls as the cases move forward.
