Police investigating possible hit-and-run in Lauderhill that killed motorcycle rider

Police are investigating a possible hit-and-run crash in Lauderhill that left a motorcycle rider dead Friday morning.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Sunrise Boulevard.

When officers responded they found the motorcycle with extensive damage and the man who was riding it killed at the scene.

The man’s identity hasn’t been released.

Investigators believe the motorcycle may have been struck by another vehicle that left the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
