Two people were killed and four others were hospitalized after a major crash on Interstate 95 in Pompano Beach on Friday, officials said.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 south of Copans Road.
Florida Highway Patrol officials said two people who were in a car that appears to have been rear-ended were killed.
Four other people were taken to North Broward Medical Center. Their conditions and identities haven’t been released.

Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed a white vehicle with heavy damage, while a silver pickup truck was nearby with front-end damage.
The southbound general purpose lanes were closed while the express lanes were open, FHP officials said.
