Newly-released dashcam video shows the moment a state trooper used a PIT maneuver to end a pursuit on the Florida’s Turnpike in South Florida.
The trooper was successfully able to cause a Honda Accord to spin out in the early hours of Feb. 6.
It all started on northbound Interstate 95 near Northwest 151st Street, where the trooper said the driver, 31-year-old Christopher Yesit Campo, was spotted speeding and almost causing several crashes by recklessly changing lanes.
The trooper said Campo at one point was going 125 mph before he exited I-95 onto the Turnpike.

The arrest report states that the trooper tried to conduct a traffic stop just south of mile marker 2X, but Campo kept going.
“The driver began taking evasive maneuvers by rapidly braking to prevent [the trooper] from conducting a PIT maneuver on his vehicle,” the report reads.
Dashcam video shows how the trooper was successfully able to stop the Honda just north of mile marker 2X. The suspect vehicle spins out and comes to a stop on the shoulder.
No one was injured.
The arrest report indicates the trooper noticed the strong smell of alcohol and saw “what appeared to be a lit marijuana cigarette” in the vehicle.
Campo refused to perform a sobriety test or provide a breath sample, authorities said.
He was arrested and is facing several charges, including DUI, dangerous or excessive speeding and reckless driving.
