A large police presence was seen in Miami on Sunday morning following a double shooting, authorities said.
According to Miami Police, at around 12:40 a.m., officers arrived in the area of Northeast Second Avenue and 60th Street after receiving a ShotSpotter alert.
At the scene, officers found two men who had been shot, and they were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
Their identities were not released.
A portion of Northeast Second Avenue was blocked by crime scene tape as the investigation into the shooting remains active.
