1 killed, 1 hospitalized after 2-vehicle crash in Davie, police say

A two-vehicle crash in Davie on Tuesday killed one person and left another person seriously injured, police said.

According to Davie Police, the crash happened at 1900 S. Flamingo Road.

Once officers arrived at the scene, one person was pronounced deceased, and a second person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Their identities have not been released.

Police said the parties involved in the crash remained at the scene.

Due to the crash, traffic going northbound on Flamingo Road has been shut down at the 2600 block.
