A woman has been arrested in the fatal shooting of another woman at a gas station in southwest Miami-Dade earlier this month that was caught on camera, authorities said.
Angel Tatiana Heyward, 27, was arrested Tuesday on a manslaughter with a deadly weapon charge in the shooting of 42-year-old Latrosha Williams, an arrest report said.
The shooting happened back on March 1 at the Sunoco gas station at 12701 Southwest 268th Street in Homestead.
According to the report, Heyward and Williams got into a verbal dispute in the parking lot, and Heyward grabbed a firearm from her purse.

Heyward went into the store as Williams stayed outside, “gesturing for the defendant to come outside to fight,” the report said.
The report said Heyward “maintained visual contact with the victim and, on several occasions, taunted the victim by blowing kisses and gesturing her middle finger,” the report said.
After Heyward left the store and walked to her vehicle, Williams swung at Heyward, grazing the top of her head, as a brief physical struggle ensued.
During the struggle, Heyward fired her gun twice, and Williams collapsed to the ground before Heyward removed her vehicle’s license plate and fled the scene, the report said.

Part of the altercation and shooting was captured by a surveillance camera.
Williams was taken to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.
After the shooting and while Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office investigators were at the scene, Heyward arrived at Homestead Hospital’s emergency room with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her foot, the report said.
Heyward was booked into jail and expected to appear in bond court on Wednesday.
