Two people suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting late Wednesday in Fort Lauderdale, authorities said.
Officers responded to the 2500 block of Northwest 21st Street at around 9 p.m. “in reference to a possible shooting.”
There, police found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victims were rushed to the trauma center at Broward Health Medical Center (BHMC) with life threatening injuries, authorities said. Fire rescue said they administered blood while on the way to the hospital.
It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting, or if any suspects were in custody.
The investigation continues.
