A woman is facing charges after authorities said she was caught driving without a license and going 100 mph on the Palmetto Expressway in Miami-Dade early Monday.
Ramiah Seanajazz Massie, 21, was arrested on charges of dangerous and excessive speeding and driving with a license suspended cancelled or revoked, an arrest report said.
According to the report, it was just after 1 a.m. on the Palmetto Expressway near Northwest 67th Avenue when a Florida Highway Patrol trooper spotted a black Volkswagen Jetta traveling at a high rate of speed.
The trooper got behind the Jetta, which was going 100 mph in a 55 mph zone, the report said.
The Jetta was stopped and it was discovered the driver, Massie, only had a Florida identification and not a driver’s license.
And during an inventory of the Jetta, authorities found two citations for the same statutes back on March 19, the report said.
Massie, who the report said lives in Brandon, Florida, was booked into jail. She was expected to appear in bond court later Monday.
