Woman found shot after robbery reported at Miramar home, police say

Police said they found a woman shot on Friday morning after responding to a report of a robbery at a Miramar home.

Police responded to the scene at 10750 North Preserve Way in the early morning hours, where video shows a heavy law enforcement presence and police tape.

There, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound and took her to the hospital.

A neighbor said he was “surprised” at the violence in his gated community.

“It’s a big concern, you know, it’s serious,” he said.

The Miramar Police Department is expected to provide more information shortly.
