A Broward County substitute teacher accused of sexually assaulting a minor appeared before a judge on Saturday.
Marsel Smith, 27, was charged with soliciting/engaging in a romantic relationship as an authority figure and sexual assault on a victim 16 or 17 years old.
During his court appearance, a judge set Smith’s bond at $30,000 and ordered him to have no contact with minors.
In court, it was revealed that Smith works as a substitute teacher and a security guard in Broward County.
