Traffic was backed up early Monday morning due to a fatal wrong-way crash on the eastbound 210 Freeway in Arcadia.
The crash was first reported at around 3 a.m. near Baldwin Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Traffic on both sides of the 210 freeway slowed down as only one lane was left open on the eastbound side of the freeway.
NewsChopper4 was over the scene where two cars were seen damaged and at least on looked to have been on fire.
Drivers were being diverted off of the freeway at Colorado Boulevard as the backup continued all the way to Sierra Madre Villa Avenue.
Dense fog was also reported in the area. Some alternative routes include Colorado or Foothill Boulevard.
