CHP conducts PIT maneuver to stop pursuit suspect in Burbank

A pursuit that began in the Santa Clarita Valley ended in Burbank Thursday as officers with the California Highway Patrol conducted a PIT maneuver to stop the suspect’s car.

The CHP said the chase began at around 12 noon in the Santa Clarita Valley area along the 14 Freeway after the suspect ran a traffic break. Officers observed the driver to be driving erratically, weaving in and out of traffic.

The pursuit suspect inside a gold Toyota Corolla was taken into custody near Hollywood Way and Winona Avenue in the Burbank area.
