An investigation is underway in Hollywood Thursday following a police shooting where at least one person was injured, the LAPD said.
The shooting was reported around 3:44 p.m. while officers responded to a call of a suicidal subject near Fernwood Avenue and Bronson Avenue.
LAPD says officers located the person matching the description, armed with a knife, inside an apartment complex. Police opened fire, injuring the suspected armed individual.
The suspect was hospitalized in critical condition, according to the LAPD.
No officers were injured.
