12-year-old hit and killed by car in Winnetka

A 12-year-old has been hit and killed by a driver in Winnetka early Monday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. 

The incident occurred at around 2:45 a.m. near Winnetka Avenue and Saticoy Street. 

According to police, the driver was arrested for suspected DUI.
