Day 8 kicked off with women’s dual moguls where Jaelin Kauf (silver) and Liz Lemley (bronze) both earned medals for Team USA.
Lucas Pinheiro Braathen makes history, wins first Winter Olympic gold medal for Brazil. With the victory, Pinheiro Braathen became the first athlete — man or woman, in any sport — representing a South American nation to earn a Winter Olympic medal.
Three days after winning his first gold medal, Jordan Stolz dominated men’s speed skating 500m to earn his second gold medal for the U.S. The U.S. men’s hockey team closed out the day with a 6-3 victory over Denmark.
