A mid-February storm delivered measurable rain and inches of snow to Southern California, with more inclement weather on the way this week.
The start of the workweek was met with slippery roads, localized flooding and gloomy conditions for the majority of the Southland, while some mountain communities received a fresh blanket of snow. More rain is in the forecast overnight into Tuesday and again later in the week.
As of 9 p.m. Monday, the rainfall totals are as follows:
- Malibu – 2.64 inches
- Thousand Oaks – 1.89 inches
- Downtown Los Angeles – 1.85 inches
- Burbank – 1.52 inches
- Long Beach – 1.64 inches
- Avalon Catalina – 1.55 inches
- San Dimas Dam – 1.57 inches
- Fullerton – 1.24 inches
- Riverside – 0.75 inches
- Saugus – 1.05 inches
