A man was arrested after police say he burglarized a nail salon and an ice cream store in Hollywood early Monday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The LAPD tells NBC4 Investigates that a witness saw the burglary at the ice cream store and alerted 911.
Officers were able to spot the man in front of the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, where they took him into custody.
He was found to be in possession of stolen cash and change as well as a loaded pistol, LAPD said.
It was not immediately clear how much money was taken from the businesses.
No further details were immediately available.
