Woman arrested after allegedly firing shots at Rihanna’s Beverly Crest home, police say

A woman was taken into custody Sunday after allegedly firing several shots at singer Rihanna’s residence in Beverly Crest, police told NBC4 Investigates.

The incident was reported around 1:21 p.m. at a home in the 9500 block of Heather Road.

Police said an unidentified woman drove to the location and fired multiple rounds.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the suspect fired between seven and nine rounds from an AR-15-style rifle. Four of the rounds struck the house. Investigators were seen examining an Airstream trailer parked in the home’s driveway.

LAPD tells NBC4 Investigates that the singer was home at the time of the shooting. They also confirmed that no injuries were reported.

The suspect was taken into custody.

LAPD said investigators from its Robbery-Homicide Division will handle the case.
