Rollover crash involving 4 vehicles prompts lane closures, delays on NB I-55 near Bridgeport

Two lanes were closed on northbound I-55 Saturday afternoon after a four-vehicle rollover crash near Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood, authorities said.

Around 3:33 p.m., a four-vehicle crash caused a white sedan to roll over onto its roof on I-55 near Throop Street, Illinois State Police said.

Two right lanes were closed after the crash, ISP said around 4 p.m.

Traffic delays of up to 10 minutes were reported as of 4:15 p.m., according to Total Traffic.

No injuries were initially reported, ISP said.
