The Chicago Bears will be down one of their best defensive players after linebacker TJ Edwards left Saturday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Edwards went down on a play in the second quarter of the game, and the team immediately called out the cart for him.
Edwards’ left leg was put in an air cast, but the team has not specified the nature of the injury. The Bears have officially said that Edwards is doubtful to return with a leg injury.
A replay showed Edwards stepping on the foot of a Packers’ wide receiver, and when he tried to get back to his feet he immediately collapsed back onto the field.
With Amen Ogbongbemiga out with a concussion, the Bears will turn to D’Marco Jackson and Daniel Hardy to get extra snaps in the game.
