Police are investigating another burglary at a home in the San Fernando Valley on Wednesday night, just a day after at least two homes nearby were broken into.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 6800 block of Vanscoy Avenue in Valley Glen just after 9:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. They requested backup when they arrived, but quickly learned the suspects had left the area, LAPD Officer Jader Chaves said.
Police say no one was home at the time of the burglary, and it is unknown what, if anything, was taken. The investigation is ongoing.
Wednesday’s incident comes as police are still searching for the person or people who broke into two homes within minutes of each other Tuesday night in Valley Glen and Valley Village.

Sliding glass doors and windows were shattered in the break-ins, while security cameras were cut off at one home.
No one was home during Tuesday’s break-ins, and it’s unclear what was stolen.
Police have not confirmed if any of these burglaries are connected.
